Classes, construction and cookies...

No cookies in this post otherwise Robert would be drooling over the keyboard. He did go up to his mother with a mouth full of cookies, take them out of his mouth put them in her hand and then eat them from her hand. I guess I am wrong there are cookies in this post.

We registered the boys for two classes with the city this fall. They will be in one of the classes every Sunday until December. They are essentially play group classes which will be good for them meeting new kids and interacting with them. It is a total of ten classes five for each program it will be a good way to beat the eventual descent into winter. It was a simple and quick registration process by the city and I really appreciate that they do it this way.

I checked on skating lessons for the fall but they keep stating the kids should be 3. I am hoping we can get the boys in at their current age. It would be nice and if we can I might consider a backyard rink for this winter. I will have to call the figure skating club as they are the most qualified for the learn to skate programs. The instructors are nationally certified and use a national curriculum. We will see how that goes.

I am going to see if the University is offering any kids programs we can take them to that they might like. It might be a swimming program I think, I still might check the city for their swimming programs as well.

We have construction going on in front of our house starting today. This means we have to go to our alley to park and get in the vehicle. It also means a temporary water tie in as well as loud noisy construction workers right outside their window while TWINsanity is napping. I know the boys will adapt but as the days get colder they will want to be on the porch watching these guys work, why, because they are 2 and curious.
